Days Since Calculator

You pick a past date and the tool counts the whole calendar days from that date up to today. Because it anchors on the current date, the day count grows by one each day rather than staying fixed like a span between two set dates.

Weeks are the total days divided by 7. Decimal years use 365.25 days per year, the Julian-year average that accounts for leap years over time. Months and the years, months, days breakdown count whole calendar-month anniversaries, so January 15 to February 14 is zero months and January 15 to February 15 is one month, with any leftover days shown separately.

Yes. The day count comes straight from the calendar dates, so leap days like February 29 and the differing lengths of each month are already included. For example, the span from 2024-02-29 to 2025-02-28 is exactly 365 days because 2024 is a leap year.
