Total days include leap days in the selected range. For a February 29 birth date, this calculator does not treat February 28 as the completed anniversary in a common year; on February 28 it can still show the prior whole-year count with a month-and-day remainder. Legal age conventions can differ by jurisdiction.

Calendar months run from 28 to 31 days. The calculator uses its own borrowing rule when the target day is earlier than the birth day. Use total days when you need one convention-independent elapsed value, especially for dates near a month end.

The calculator returns no result, because you do not exist before you are born. Set the target date on or after the birth date to get an answer. Using the same date for both fields returns an age of zero years, zero months, and zero days.

Total days count the full days from your birth date up to the target date, so your birth day itself is day zero and the next day shows one total day. On each yearly anniversary the months and days reset to zero and the years go up by one. Total weeks are simply the total days divided by seven, with any leftover days shown separately.
